Corasp®, a gastro-resistant tablet, containing acetylsalicylic acid (ASA); administered daily in small doses prevents platelet activation and blood clot formation (thrombus). In this way, Corasp® reduces the risk and consequently prevents the onset of:
Heart attacks, Strokes and Transient Ischemic Attackes, Cardio vascular problems in patients suffering from stable and unstable angina
Corasp® is also taken for the prevention of thrombosis after certain types of cardiac surgeries performed for dilation or reopening of constricted blood vessel.
